children's birthday
The exhibition at the Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum is full of surprises, the discovery of which makes for a very special birthday celebration.
The anniversary event begins with an introduction to the animal groups on display at the Aquazoo—with shells, skulls, and other collection pieces to touch and explore. During the following tour, our experienced nature educators will introduce the most interesting animals, tell you about their lives, and answer questions.
Afterwards, the young naturalists can enjoy refreshments in a room equipped with tables and chairs. Parents are asked to bring their own food, drinks, and tableware.
And at the very end, things get really exciting again when giant insects climb over your hands or, for example, a tarantula or snake invites you to pet it.

Our educational concept
Why do zoos and natural history museums offer classes and educational events and work closely with individual schools?
It is important to motivate people to use our planet's resources sustainably. This also includes preserving biological diversity.
The Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum follows the educational goals of national and international umbrella organizations from the museum and zoo sector as well as the specifications of the municipal sponsor, the state capital of Düsseldorf.

Our child protection concept
You entrust your children to us, and we want them to feel safe and comfortable with us. To this end, we are committed to adhering to international standards for child protection. Our child protection concept and the measures and principles it sets forth serve the preventative and ad hoc protection of children's well-being at the Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum.
