360-degree tour

Our 360-degree tour allows you to get a first impression of our exhibition and discover areas that would otherwise be hidden from your view during a regular visit. You can also visit two of our past special exhibitions via the tour menu. "Sex and Gender" and "Memento Mori" are available there as 3D models.

A part of the permanent exhibition: On the left, parts of the skeleton of a giant snake can be seen, from the right edge of the picture a living ball python looks at the object.

permanent exhibition

In our permanent exhibition you will see what it means to be a zoo, museum and aquarium at the same time! Our show combines the best that these institutions have to offer: interesting animals in aquariums and terrariums designed to be as close to nature as possible, fascinating specimens and many stations that invite you to participate. This makes learning fun. Follow the course of evolution from salt to fresh water, on land and back to water on our closed tour through 25 themed rooms. On your way you will learn all kinds of interesting things about the biology of the animals with which we share this planet and the habitats in which they live. There is something for everyone here! Our entire exhibition is "indoor" and therefore ideal for your visit in bad weather.
