Partial renovation in the rural area
A waterproofing project is currently underway behind the scenes in the terrarium. For the duration of the work, privacy screens have been installed on one side of the exhibition, where various special exhibits will be presented.
Some of our animals, such as naked mole rats, frogs, geckos, snakes, and smaller lizards, will not be visible during the partial renovation.

Every Day from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m.
Closed on January 1st, Shrove Monday, May 1st, October 7st from 14 p.m., December 24th, 25th and 31st.

By purchasing tickets in advance, you can avoid possible waiting times at the entrance and use the "fast lane access". Please pay attention to the signs and instructions from our staff. Please also note the time period you have chosen in which you must enter the institute. We recommend that you come at the beginning of this "time slot" if possible. You can of course stay in the institute itself until the end of regular opening hours! The online ticket does not have to be printed out.

Commented feedings
The commented feedings take place on the following days:
each Monday, 11 am: Piranhas (Room H)
Dienstags, 14.30:XNUMX pm: Dwarf mongooses (Room W)
mittwochs, 12 noon: Coral Reef (Room E)
Thursdays, 11 am: Large Aquarium (rooms D, E, F)
on fridays, 12.30 pm: Penguins (Room M)
Please also pay attention to the daily updated information at the enclosures.
The commented feedings do not take place on public holidays.

From the north via A57/A52/A3 and A44, exit Stockum; from the south via A57/A59/A3 and A46, follow the signs for the trade fair from a distance, and the signs for the Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum from a short distance. Paid parking, bus parking and charging stations for electric vehicles are available in the Nordpark.

There are 4 disabled parking spaces in front of the entrance to the Aquazoo.
Assistance dogs are permitted.
The entrance to the Aquazoo is at ground level. The door opens automatically.
The exit of the Aquazoo is at ground level. The door can be opened using a push button.
Wheelchairs can be borrowed free of charge at the cash desk after registering by telephone through our office.
The checkout area is accessible for wheelchair users.
A tactile guidance system leads from the car park to the entrance, as well as within the foyer to the elevator, the toilets and the exit.
A disabled toilet with one-way access is available on the ground floor.
An operating key for the elevators can be borrowed free of charge at the cash desk.
There are three elevators/lifts within the exhibition measuring 160 centimeters x 90 centimeters and one elevator from the upper floor to the exit measuring 220 centimeters x 90 centimeters.
The staircases are provided with step markings and handrails on both sides.
Exhibits and thematic panels are lowered or tilted to provide wheelchair access.
The exhibition is designed with high contrast and the exhibits are illuminated without glare.
The museum shop is step-free accessible.
Audio guides in simple language can be borrowed at the ticket office for a fee (3,00 EUR).
The Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum offers various guided tours with trained staff for groups with various disabilities.
The lecture room is equipped with an induction loop for connecting hearing aids.
Assistance dogs are permitted. Other animals are not allowed to be brought into the exhibition.
There are special steps for children that make it easier to see into the enclosures and aquariums, as well as numerous elements that are specifically aimed at children. There is a changing table. There are three playgrounds in the Nordpark.
The house has no cafeteria, and eating and drinking is prohibited in the exhibition.
In the shop you can buy a house guide and a children's guide, among other things.
Audio guides are available in German, Easy Language and English for a fee.
